obviosuly = obviously.
Abenaki, a pleasure to meet you. I wasn't sure I remembered your handle correctly.
They announced the banner was billboard size since it was the Clear Channel billboard group that printed it. A special thanks to WMMB and Larry Brewer for hosting the event. Let's see if we can get WMEL to host another rally to keep even! Call Bill Mick tomorrow AM!
Don't forget to check out the WMMB site for the pictures we won't see in Florida Today. Note their comment about that huge crowd at the "peace" rally, all 100 of them? HA!

To: 3D-JOY
I was in Melborne about 15 years ago, on vacation with my Dad, and I enjoyed my time when I was there.
2 years ago, I went through there with DH and was amazed by how much the area had grown.
Way to go! Keep up the FReep!

Thanks for using the sign for such a good purpose!
I wasn't sure if I had over worked my brain when I thought of the wording...I knew I had gone beyond my art ability when I put the airplanes on the edge ...bearing down on the flaming 9-1-1.
The simple signs, Support the Troops, and God Bless America had good response. If they had the wooden stick American Flags taped to the edges, it didn't seem to matter what they said.
Personally I like the one that said:
American Troops are my
American IDOL!!
A teen girl seemed very happy with that one.
Thanks to you and Abenaki for carrying on after the rally!

It was just a bad joke about #46.
She said that bump, bump, bumpety bumps were outlawed by the Geneva Convention.
My humor is sometimes missed by EVERYONE else!
What is that comment? I am only funny in my own mind!
I know you are always supportive of FR!

Have you checked the Clear Channel site?
WMMBAM.com has a huge number of pictures from inside the rally. They must not have taken any when we were setting up. Too bad!

Well..... Dear Wife and I were there. I was in my full Yankee uniform, Mary Ellen was in her hoop skirt. Silly me, I thought it would be more comfortable inside, shade, air conditioning, etc. OK... Now I know. 2000 people, close packed space, no air movement to speak of, wet wool. Bad mix. To my lasting regret, I had to bail out early. I think to the relief of my fellow participants. Think wet wool that's been around a couple hundred campfires, and seen a fair amount of marching. I did see one fellow Freeper, I believe he goes by the handle of NVA? In any case, it was a wonderful event, and did my heart good to see.
