Thanks ,Mary's prom dress arrived today, one of two.She went out with her father ,brother and others to shovel the older people out, they stopped at burger king, she came home tried on the gown and broke the strap,Jim called and as soon as he get into port he wants to visit.I said yes,he thank us for our support, all of us.The prom pics dress is going out as soon as I get the camera from the snowedin thrift shop but this call Jim wanted to talk to me more than Mary and said everyone was looking out for Karen,he sounded like he aged a few years in a few weeks.I told him we were proud of all of them and we prayed on the air for them today.I told off the cowardnicks and said special prayers for all our loved ones.

Wow, fatima, that is wonderful, what you and your family and friends are doing for Jim. It is so important that all of our guys and gals understand that what they see on the news is NOT what most Americans are like. That there are lots and lots of people just like us here at the Canteen that support them 100% and pray for their safe and soon return.
And I am so proud of you for telling off the cowardnicks. They will never understand that Jim and his buddies, the past and present military, are the only reason they can be so stupid.

"They will never understand that Jim and his buddies, the past and present military, are the only reason they can be so stupid."Well I don't know if they will understand but I told them the hell off,Father agreed. In fact we had a lot of fun with the program, what wine not to drink, what movie not to buy or rent and the correct way to order food, like freedom fries. But Kathy in Alaska,we do have the best listeners in the whole world and they cry when I cry and laugh when I laugh. We also have many on the road in cars that listen and in work.

"... and they cry when I cry and laugh when I laugh. We also have many on the road in cars that listen and in work." What a great resource. Get them involved with sending Care Packages. Maybe one listener could get together with a friend and they could put a package together. Or a family could get their kids and their classmates to write letters to send in a package. Or a class at school could get together and each bring one thing to put in a box with letters from the kids. There are so many possibilities. You have such a great opportunity since you have such great listeners. Go for it.
I really really like that you are educating your listeners on what not to eat and drink, and what not to rent or buy. Good for you!

OK, I found a report and a map.
This is a map of Alaska. The red box surrounds "Unimak Island". Unimak Island is known for its extreme weather, active volcanoes, huge waves, and amazing wildlife. You can only get there by chartering a private plane or helicopter.

Diva, I missed just about everybody today. Tomorrow I hope to keep up. Good luck shovelling out, and thank you for the wonderful graphics and prayers.
To: Radix
Radix, you did a masterful job with the history today. I think I can participate tomorrow. Work has almost stopped me cold for several days now. What a bummer. God bless you good, Radix, and sleep well. And God bless and keep safe our military.

Have a good Friday at work, and then it's on to "helo ops" night at the Coast Guard. Have a safe training session and keep an eye on that helo! God bless you good for your service to our country.
