This makes sense, the video I have seen shows the shuttle in a portside skid, with the nose pointing 90 degrees to the right, yawwed, to the direction of travel. That port wing probably folded up and then it rolled into oblivion...

Well whatever did happen. Let's all pray that it happened quickly and that they felt no pain.
FNC is now showing a large charred area in a field. Very large when they zoomed in.
