"THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!"

Did you see the car parked in a Burger King with a man in the drivers seat with one hand on the wheel?

You just have to laugh at it. I see those in my town, Davis,CA, on a frequent basis. I laugh, flip'em the bird and just shake my head at the loser cars they drive. Mostly road hazards.

I see that every day here in Seattle.

My own personal favorite insulting bumper sticker is, "Friends don't let friends vote Republican." I saw that one last week.

As if none of their feel-good goobledegook hasn't paved the road with a bunch of able-bodied sychophants on the government dole.

I was really mad when I read that bumper sticker.

Cheer up, that's what passes for left-wing humor. Now, try this one out for size. I saw a bumper sticker with the GOP logo, the Dem logo and Hillary's face. Underneath the three was THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY...

Always liked the one which said something like " This juvenile delinquent is having sex with your honor student". Yeah that bumper sticker is annoying.

Living in Texas, it was only proper for me to proudly display the bumper sticker I wish I lived in New York,so I could vote against Hillary Use to get a lot of thumbs up when people would see it.

Perhaps you could overlay his bumper sticker with one of your own choosing.

Oh, don't be so thin skinned. Who do you think ran down the Republicans in their haste to drive down the broad way which leads to destruction?

That one is particularly irritating, isn't it. I got riled the other day by "Bush: Commander in Thief"

Actually what I think that means is
in order to get to hell the Democrats
would pave the road there with every republican
they could kill.

You are right that the bumper sticker would be labeled "hate speech" or something if it said Democrats or liberals.

IMO, it proves that the "hate crime" laws will probably be used selectively and unpredictably.

I wouldn't be that mad. To anyone but a hard core Democrat such a bumper sticker looks viscious and sick. Such a mean spirited nasty slogan turns off more people to Democrats than it attracts.

This bumper sticker is a great example of subtle sardonicism, in that such an anti-Republican typically wouldn't believe in hell in the first place. The joke is, "In your version of the world that I don't agree with anyway, you're screwed."

Which is why the opposite, "The road to hell is paved with democrats", just wouldn't work because the democrats whom we most oppose wouldn't believe in hell in the first place.

So an analogous bumper sticker for US would have to have the same basic message-- "In your sick twisted liberal version of the world that I don't agree with anyway, you're SCREWED." I'll think on that one...

Yeah, but it's true. The road to Hell is paved with Republicans.

But they're all yelling, "Not this way! Turn back! Turn back!"

"THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!".

How about this one in response:

The Road To Hell Is Paved With Aborted Democrats

Reminds me of one that I saw that says "I'm too poor to vote Republican"...which a few days later (the car was apparently abandoned, it had sat for a long time) was edited by someone to "I'm too poor to vote Republican, thanks to the Democrats tax hikes"

The car, and edited sticker, have sat there for months now...
