ARGHHHHHHH!! Computer freeze. Thanks, Wolverine, for the reminder of "stuff' that our troops would like to receive. Good link. Remembering that a lot of the troops can't get to the corner store if need be, must not be forgotten.

I well remember the first time we had the pleasure of meeting "Sgt. Justin" last year. What an amazing little boy. This news just breaks my heart. He's at peace now and free of pain.
Farewell young "freedom fighter".

Bump for the Canteen.
BTW our ISP cahnged it's DNS and IP server numbers yesterday. The change did not affect dial-up which I use. So far no problems. This is an update from a post on the Foxhole thread from eariler this week.

Doin' great (except I have to work). Today's temps are supposed to get above freezing. This is not good! Makes ice and stupid drivers. d:o)
Did you get hit by all the storms?
To: Kathy in Alaska
Work, what's that ... I haven't worked since '86. :)
It's raining in the Valley, snow in the mountains, just as God intended it. :)

a book cart They can read. I thought mostly they just memorized the Koran, maybe learned how to write their name. Twas it up to me, they'd get nothing but books on the US revolutionary war and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, in English, with no pictures. Maybe the Constitution and BoR could be in Arabic or whatever it is they read.

A single, outside shower stall adjacent to the recreation/exercise area at Camp Delta, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba I suppose they had to be taught what it was for and how to use it?

"Twas it up to me, they'd get nothing but books on the US revolutionary war and the Constitution and Bill of Rights, in English, with no pictures."A man after my own heart! I would suspect that they are mighty happy to be "imprisoned" by the Americans. I also suspect that they think we are weak because of our "coddling" of them. They will be shown how wrong they are. God bless our Military and the job they do.
