Photo Newsline for 29 of October, 2002: meeting with Ghadafi

Miss @ Net USA Tecca Zendik and Colonel Ghadafi

What a neck! She's certainly no Billy Carter.

Apparently the pageant was last November. I guess Zendik remained a guest of the Colonel thereafter.

Oh MAN! You left out the best picture!

The caption claims she's crying after hearing Mommar tell about how the US bombed his house. Personally I think it had more to do with what he whispered in her ear as she held a cleverly disguised box of cigars in her lap.

I'll bet Mommar and Bubba could swap some pretty interesting stories.<p. prisoner6

He's become practically cuddly since we blew his house up.

Looks like a friendly "world music" star. Like Salif Keita or something.

The worst atrocity ever committed on American soil and this bimbo is talking "peace." As though that weren't bad enough, she's doing it on behalf of one of the terrorist co-conspirators.

He has been working pretty hard to suck up to us for years. While the rest of the arab world defames us, he hangs big banners depicting the face of our president as a hero on public buildings.

I know it is wise to be cautious about normalizing relations, but maybe we should go easy on old Mohammar.

After all, if it doesn't do him any good to repent of his old ways, why should he? Just like we need to make those who attack us suffer, we need to work to make things good for our friends.

He's gone to great lengths to be a very good boy for --- what? --- 10+ years now? No, longer than that?

I think it could be a good thing for other arab leaders to see that there are rewards for jumping off of the jihad/terror bandwagon.

The ministry described Zendik as "a beautiful bird of peace that came from the United States to ensure that relations between the Libyan and American people are embedded in the roots of history.

A 23-year-old Zendik, has thanked the Libyan government for granting her citizenship and said she hopes to influence people from around the world to love Libyans.
