I'm not familar with the treason laws in this country, but I think these sickos are the modern equivalents of Nazi collaborators. Whether it's Hitler's key facilities or Saddam's they protect, they are aiding and abetting the enemy. I hope Tony Blair ensures they can never return to this country again.

Is their theory that we wouldn't kill enemy collaborators?
BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Nichols is willing to put his own life on the line to stop a war. 'In going to Iraq I understand that I will likely not survive a US invasion,' he said.Whatever.
(1) It's highly unlikely that his event-filled schedule will ever get him to Baghdad in time, and I'm sure he's planned it that way.
(2) Even if he ever got there, let's think hard shall we?
Were I an Iraqi, would I prefer to allow an American to just die in a bombing run, or would I prefer to tie him up and use him as a hostage?
Finally - do we really believe that the Turkish government will be as indulgent to these freaks as the Beligian one is likely to be? Not bloody likely. Good luck getting to Damascus from Istanbul.

Omitted above:
Kenneth Nichols has sought political asylum in the Netherlands, and renounced his U.S. citizenship.

"'I don't think anyone will be happy about bombing somewhere they see being protected by North Americans or Europeans,' he said. "Target rich environment, I'd say. Let there be no doubt that any in our military would be glad to take out the protesters, on foriegn soil, in the camp of the enemy.
Heck, I'd do it myself.

I thought this might be from the Onion at first.
The convoy to Baghdad is being organised by former US marine Kenneth Nichols ...
I hereby nominate Mr. (and I use the term lightly) Nichols for the un-coveted title of ex-Marine, along with Garwood, Oswald, and Lonetree.
In the 1991 conflict, Nichols was serving in the 2nd Battalion of the Marine Corps.
?! Either this buttwipe is a poser, or (maybe more likely) the reporter is merely ignorant or USMC unit designations.

I hope someone video tapes these guys pooping in their pants when the J-DAM's start falling from the dark, seemingly unoccupied skies over Baghdad.
My bet is these guys will be closer to the CNN guys than any sort of military target that might get shot at anyway. If they do get shot at, five bucks says they duck just like anybody else would.
