TRENTON -- Despite his statements to the contrary, Gov. McGreevey, from the beginning, intended to make his now-departed Israeli adviser and friend, whose expertise was public relations, the state's point man on terrorism, documents obtained last week under the federal Freedom of Information Act show.

Well, your headline is more accurate. But, the good news is this story was the front page headline in today's Asbury Park Press and that, in itself, is news.

If I, as an ordinary citizen lied on an application to the Feds for anything, how long would it take for the handcuff marks to disappear from my wrists?

Since it was a filthy democrap that did this, nothing will happen. Again.

This aide is McGreevy's personal boy-toy that everyone is talking about, right?

Yes.

Not only that, but McGreevey is a known lush -- hanging out with with former NJ Gov Florio on a bar stool for hours on end is common knowledege.

The New Jersey voters have proven over and over that their collective IQ is low double digits.

This is the third or fourth story I've seen just on FR this weekend regarding McGreedy's antics. Perhaps the press in NJ finally is starting to get the hint or maybe now someone is directing the nj media to enlighten residents of his um....activities. First there was the information on the Ireland trip, then his budget activities and now more hints regarding his (nudge nudge wink wink) former advisor.

Is this McGreedy's boyfriend?

Yup. One of many.

Kushner, who is mentioned in this article, is a big time developer and as corrupt as they get. He's one of the state's kingmakers. I drive buy his company's headquarters everyday on the way to work. What really makes me sick to my stomach is that McGreevey has put him in a spot with the Port Authority to make a lot of money when the trade center get is rebuilt. Hopefully, McGreevey will be out long before then.

What I still have a hard time figuring out is why the New Jersey press is going after McGreevey after they snuffed the Torch. If I didn't know better, I would think they are being impartial.

Could be because McGreevey has just been so arrogantly sloppy about his many inpropieties, that even the liberal press can't ignore it, while Torch moreless was the same situation.

We all know the Democratic Party gets a free ride on their ethics for the first 99 out of the 100 miles -- some semblance of media "outrage" finally kicks in after that...

...Meanwhile Republican Trent Lott merely turns the key in the ignition, adjusts his rear view mirror and burps, and the media 'highway patrol' pulls him over to "expose his evil transgression."

It's mostly been the Asbury Park Press that has been leading the way. The (red)Star Ledger trails with bad new about the Guv.

Maybe the Asbury Park Press is starting to realize that the answer to their declining subscriptions was to start reporting the real news to the conservatives who inhabit Monmouth County.

Unbelievable, look for more stench within his administration in the upcoming years. Hopefully Bret will win in 05.

Well put. A Classic analogy.

to the conservatives who inhabit Monmouth County.

And, Ocean County.

Today's front page also includes a story about the McGreevy administration strongly considering a "salt water fishing license". The man does not know how to cut spending, but we knew that already.
