MM was hot and right on target with this paragraph that you posted.

It is so good, that it needs to be reposted:

These petty abuses are symptoms of a much more serious disease. It's high-altitude political edema. Flying high above the unwashed masses, breathing the rarefied air of the self-anointed, the minds and egos of government officials swell rapidly in the absence of the oxygen of everyday life. King James McGreevey and his ilk absorb the perks of power, demand gratitude for their "selflessness," move on to grander theft, and then send their jesters out to stifle the few grumbling serfs who grasp that the powerful, once elevated, will do anything to keep their feet off the ground and keep reaching for our pockets.

Malkin's is one of the best analyses I've seen about petty pols who rule like emperors........and to heck with the peasants.

The next voice you hear will be Hitlery saying...."Let 'em eat cake."

There was a lot of press some time ago about Kushner's bundling activities. Then, end of story. But then, maybe not. ;^)

King James McGreevey and his ilk (Hitlery, Torricelli, hand-picked Lautenberg, Chi-Di-Fi, etc) absorb the perks of power, demand gratitude for their "selflessness," move on to grander theft, and then send their jesters out to stifle the few grumbling serfs who grasp that the powerful, once elevated, will do anything to keep their feet off the ground and keep reaching for our pockets.

We should nail this to the door of the DNC in the form of a Citizen's Manifesto.
This is the DemoRats modus operandi in a nutshell. We get trampled on while they are exhibiting their "seflessness."

Who can forget the conniving Clintons " doing it for the children."

June 20, 2002 - from Capital Eye which reports on money in politics:

One of the biggest individual campaign contributors during the 2000 election cycle was Charles Kushner, a New Jersey real estate developer relatively unknown outside the Garden State—unless you are running for office, that is.

In a four-part series, the Bergen Record profiles Kushner and tracks the influence of one of the most elaborate campaign check bundling operations of any recent election cycle. (link below)

The Record reports that Kushner, his family and his businesses have contributed at least $3 million to candidates and parties in and outside New Jersey over the last five years. That includes at least $1 million to candidates on the federal level during 1999-2000, most of which went to Democrats. It does not include the tens of thousands of dollars Kushner and his family have directed to other political causes, including New Jersey Sen. Robert Torricelli's Legal Defense Fund.

But it's not only Democrats that benefit from Kushner's money. In 1999, the developer held a fund-raiser to benefit then-New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's bid for the U.S. Senate. But much of the $100,000 raised at the event was ultimately returned because of violations of federal election law.

Most recently, Kushner was appointed to the board of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, one of the groups that will determine the future of the World Trade Center site. He was appointed to that board by New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey (D), who has taken more than $1.5 million in contributions from Kushner and his associates since 1999.

It's easy to play a game when you can make-up the rules as you go; one set for yourself and another for your opponent.

You nailed down a very important point.

The "rules shuffle" and the wholesale attack on America and our rule of law is a direct result of the secularization of our culture. Mostly it is blatantly anti-Christian. I could name names, but you all know the cast of characters......liberals, Planned Parenthood, the ACLU, etc.

These people are crass, despicable culture destroyers. But they've made one huge mistake.........They have grossly underestimated our ability to see through this charade and our will to act on it.

The conniving Clintons enabled this wrecking crew for the eight years of their phony presidency. Much damage was done.

We are supposed to accept the ocean of corruption washing over our country which is so endemic is it tantamount to sedition. We are supposed to equate crimes against humanity.... like abortion..... as a natural outcome of all this "freedom" we've been "given" by the likes of the ACLU types and the corrupt Clintons.

No way, Jose.

Think of the $18 million in "book advances" for books they will not author and which not a soul will ever buy.

When Hillary's book is published it will be purchased and read by many hundreds of thousands of readers, including several Freepers. Wait until you see the NY Post making headlines out of passages from Hill's book and even rightwing talk show hosts ridiculing it, all to the financial advantage of Hill and her publisher.

Nah. Hillary's book track record is abyssmal: No sales, no readers, big money losers for the bribe givers, oops I meant distinguished media money people. She doesn't even write her books, they are given to uncredited (and I read very, very verbally abused) ghost writer dolts.

The $18 million is simply more disguised bribe money to the sociopathic, narcissistic, traitorous, lawyer vermin, power-mad, just plain evil Clintons.

And a harbinger of the Clintons straight-to-the- discount-table publishing fortunes could be the Gores recent flopola book (which is a two-book set).

The fact that the Clintons combined $18M book deals signed eons ago have not seen the light of day is particlularly instructive.

Timing to the market is critical to publication. So far the opportunity has not presented itself and after Nov 5, the market is even softer for anything these two Nothings might say.

Do these has-beens really have anything to say? And, if so, is anybody listening? I doubt it.

I am so glad that the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy controls ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, the NY Times, AP, etc, ad naueum.

What fabulous investigative reporting on this and all the other corruption, documenting on how on the biggest book deal in history was merely a conduit for bribe money.

The media is so aggressive at rooting out democrat corruption. /sarcasm off

I was especially gratified when ABCCBSNBCCNN defended our way of life during the reign of the the calculating Clintons and aggressively pursued the impeachment and expelling of the conniving Clintons from office.
