I WANT YOU TO ATTEND
THE BILL OF RIGHTS DAY CELEBRATION
December 14, 2002
In Loveland, Colorado At The Pulliam Building

The annual Bill of Rights Day Celebration will be held on December 14, 2002 at the Pulliam Building 524 North Cleveland from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The evening will begin with a potluck dinner at 6:00 PM. The doors will open after 5:00 PM. After dinner, we will discuss the past, present and future of the Bill of Rights. The Fife and Drum Corps will be providing entertainment.

If you are concerned that the War on Terrorism will erode our already fragile Bill of Rights and would like to find out what others are doing to preserve our way of life, this event is for you.

The Founding Fathers knew that the key to a strong nation was individual sovereignty and a limited government. Government’s only purpose is to ensure our liberty from all enemies foreign and domestic.

There will be presentations and activities throughout the evening, such as:

Mike Beggs, of the Constitutional Corner will be giving a presentation concerning a project to produce a series of videos for local public television. The emphasis will be on teaching the Constitution.

Members of the Northern Colorado Fife and Drum Corps are planning to have a monthly event featuring a special date in history from each month. They are looking for ideas and help in this endeavor.

Kirk Anamier, an accomplished actor and a member of the fife and drum corps will be portraying ‘A Visitor from the Past’, an essay by Thelen Paulk. It is about a Revolutionary War figure that appears in the present and wonders where the freedom they fought for is.

The Second Amendment Sisters will present the Eddie Eagle gun safety program for children. Bring the children along so that they may be educated on what to do if they ever find a firearm.

There will be an open discussion of the Bill of Rights.

We will be collecting winter clothing and gifts for the needy. Please bring your unused coats, gloves, hats or sweaters to help keep someone warm this cold winter season.

This is a free event, open to the public.

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other.-John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798

Randall,
Yes, you can bring children. One of the reasons we do this is to educate youngsters. The Second Amendment sisters will be doing a presentation of the NRAs Eddie Eagle program at beginning at 6:30.

Well, he IS only two years old. I just wanna bring him because I can't stand being away from my Son for two seconds. He'll have absolutely NO idea where he is and why he's there. Besides, it's about time I did something with Colorado FReepers other than posting here. I keep slapping myself for missing out on all the fun taunting the lefties like you folks have.

See y'all there!!!
