FWIW, South Africans, in particular South African Jews, have been getting while the getting was good, to Atlanta, for 20 years+.
When we bought our first house, we because good friends with our across the street neighbors, who were Jewish. We joked that we were the token gentiles at Yom Kippur breakfast. Through our neighbors, we met quite a number of Jews from South Africa, and came to understand there was quite a number of them in Atlanta.
A business associate at that time told me that he knew quite a few Jews who had bailed from South Africa. They lived in the same apartments as he, when he first moved to Atlanta.
Some years later, I ended up with a project manager who was a Jewish South African emigre, who confirmed these earlier experiences.
Some folks smell the wind early.

My parents (the token gentiles in their community) have a couple South African Jewish neighbors in their development in Boca Raton.
