Here is who the immigration lobby supports in the Republican Party. Send this article to as many friends as possible and call, e-mail, snail mail and fax letters to our representatives and ask that they support meaningful immigration reform such as Rep. Tancredo's H.R. 2712 and Rep. George Gekas H.R.5013 The Place to start is http://capwiz.com/fair/home/ Friends are children's future, security and civilization are in the balance. God Bless

Gregory Siskind is a partner in Siskind, Susser, Haas & Devine's Memphis, Tennessee, office. Just a bunch of lawyers who favor mass immigration because they're profiting off of it. If communities become overwhelmed, hospitals go bankrupt, taxes skyrocket too bad, as long as they can keep riding the gravy train of a misguided and failed policy.
These lawyers may be watching Congress to see who they pick to head the Immigration Subcommittees, but Congress might want to know, so are we.

How can you tell when a lawyer is lying? And Siskind seems to be moving his lips very fast after the Republican sweep.

This is an interesting piece because it's straight from the horse's mouth inside the enemy camp. Nice to know who and what they like and don't like. Their evaluation of GWB is disheartening though. If we can sign up for this rag online (free) we should all do so , so we can keep tabs on what the Immigration rats are up to.

Bush may be pro-immigration but it was Bill Clinton who got us in this mess. Typical dem lawyer.

Correction: Communities ARE being overwhelmed, hospitals go bankrupt, taxes skyrocket, and jobs are being lost. This is true. And just a matter of time for those communities who haven't been affected yet.
Most likely some of them in the audience on Donahue's show last night live in the unaffected communities. Their teary-eyed Statue of Liberty naivete was pretty evident.

Future Of Immigration Policy Unclear In Wake Of Election by Gregory Siskind I've decided to reveal a big secret in this week's newsletter. Most immigration lawyers and most pro-immigration advocates are Democrats (myself included). You'd think this would CLUE IN the dense-side of the republican party that supports our disastrous immigration policies.

Nice catch. I would hesitate to send this article to Bush, though. He might nominate Suskind as his choice to head the INS.

You'd think this would CLUE IN the dense-side of the republican party that supports our disastrous immigration policies.I'm going to interpret this article. The Republican Party, rather than getting out their own vote and convincing those that would normally vote for someone else that their traditional views serve the country best, has copied the Democrat's views on immigration. Representative Gekas, who believes entry into the US should be restricted at this historic juncture, is out of office, a possible effect of all of the things done to keep the spotlight on Tancredo.
If this trend continues lawyers can get very, very, rich because the courts will just ignore the laws and support anyone who pays up to contest not being allowed to become US citizens.
I find it intriguing that the other side is basically saying what a lot of us are...as far as these issues are concerned, what we really have are two Democratic Parties.

Great! Now we know who to support to chair the Committee. Either my own longtime CA Congressman, Elton Gallegly or Lamar Smith (R-TX). Gallegly led this committee after the GOP took over the House in 1994, but it appears he has now moved on to better things

White, anglo American voters may continue to vote Republican, but their numbers are not increasing. They're honest in their racial goals for the US, that's the reason they promote third world immigration is to remove the voting power of the white Americans. Kind of a gerrymandering of the whole US so that democrats and socialists will always win.

"...what we really have are two Democratic Parties." Just visit the Republican Party website and take a look at the three issues that the Republicans brag that Hispanics support Bush on.
All three are liberal/socialist positions.
There are a lot of Freepers claiming that the Republican Party is appealing to conservative Hispanic families.
All I see is the Republican Party moving to the left to get their votes.

[we have a President who, at least in terms of his words, is one of the most pro-immigration Presidents in decades. Bush may be pro-immigration but it was Bill Clinton who got us in this mess. Typical dem lawyer.]
While Clinton did nothing to stop it, he certainly is not totally responsible for it. It began in the 70's and has just mushroomed. But President Bush had some time before 9/11 to stop it. Whenever it has been mentioned, someone or lots of someones, pipe up 'Well, he has been a little busy since 9/11'. Well, I pose that closing our borders was paramount after 9/11. Going around the world to roust them out is important, but closing the borders to keep them out is even more so.
Also, you will have to admit, Clinton didn't cozy up to the Mexican government as Bush has. No PResident Bush has done nothing. He is going to 'rearrange' the departments - how long do you think it will take before the American public realizes they still are doing nothing. President Bush has actually encouraged it with his speeches on 'hardworking, look-for-a-better-life, and do-the-work-no-one-else-will-do (a huge fallacy). Yes, blame Clinton for his part - but put a huge portion where it belongs.
