I voted at 7:30 AM here in FX Cty VA. I voted NO on all the bond issues as well as the two constitutional issues. I was a little pi**ed to see two constitutional questions on the ballot. There has been no disussion about it and I think if you are going to alter the State Constituion, it should require a little more effort than slipping it onto some off-year election ballot.

Tom Davis was running against a nobody from the Constitution Party. If my memory serves me correctly, they had a candidate on the Presidential ballot in 1992 who was going to use brain scans to pick his cabinet if he got elected. I voted for the Constitution Party candidate over Davis because Davis is a RINO and I would rather have someone marginally insane - they can do less damage, also, doing two write-ins was beyond the capacity for the poll workers. Davis is a shoe-in but he needs to know he is not going to take my vote for granted.

John Warner is running against two nobodies so I wrote in Ollie North. Only one person at the polling place knew how to do a write-in ballot. There is no way in h*ll I would ever vote for that RINO Warner. Every time I call his office I feel like I am calling Kennedy's or Daschle's (what's wrong with gun control?, etc.)

Heard on the radio on my way into work today that Warner got impatient in waiting for the Amtrak train he was on because he was five minutes late for some meeting so he jumped off when it was still moving (must have jimmied the door open as well since they don't open until it stops). When the train workers came up to him he got abusive (report said "used abusive language"), and then repeatedly reminded them how much money Amtrak gets from Washington.

too bad you didn't vote for Jacob Hornberger (I).
He's Pro Life and Pro Gun

Much better choice than Warner. Yuk!
I voted at 0635 and was #35 in Spotsylvania, VA. Turnout appeared light.
Voted for Jacob Hornberger running against John Warner.
I voted against anything that required more taxes or changed the VA Constitution and signed a petition against Chancellorville development. The roads are already a mess without more development.
