At the close of Hour Two, I broke the Haitian boatpeople story this way: "Two hundred and fourteen new Democrats arrived in Florida just in time to vote next Tuesday." They claim that this was a "freighter," but if that was a freighter, I'm a tadpole. The news likewise reported that these people couldn't swim ashore, when it looked like there was about 12 feet of water out there.
The angle here is that Haitians are sent back to their homeland, unlike Cuban refugees. Now, I thought Haiti was fixed. This is one of the policies George H. W. Bush had and Bill Clinton campaigned against in 1992, but that Clinton intensified as president. They sent Jimmy Carter down there to spread a little malaise on the situation, remember? In light of all that, this seems awfully contrived, does it not?
I can't help but think of DNC head Terry McAuliffe saying that he would do whatever it took to defeat Jeb Bush in next week's election - not because he's a bad governor, but just to embarrass the Bush family. I can't help but wonder if this isn't an October Surprise designed to put the screws to Jeb and energize the African-American voters. I would keep a close eye out for facts on this.
It's important to point out that I think people who go in for conspiracy theories are fools, but this is suspicious. The early reports said they spent 18 days at sea and the people were disheveled. But then the New York Times said the trip took eight days, and you can see that the people do not look like they've been at sea for this length of time. I have no proof of this. This is just my intelligence guided by experience especially in light of last night's Wellstone exploitation rally.
From what I heard it was Key Biscayne where they landed and from the shots on TV, it looked like the northern end of the Key near the Rickenbacker causeway, not the southern end where all the homes, businesses and neighborhoods are. That causeway is the only way (without a boat) on or off Key Biscayne and putting them off at the north end is about guaranteeing that they can easily be rounded up.
If I really wanted to dump illegal in S. Flordia, that would be about the last spot I would pick. I'd do it at night, say on Miami Beach where they could easily blend in to the city, with several bridges going to the mainland, not in an area where there are no homes or businesses and only one road and a mile+ long causeway to get anywhere else.
It's foolish to rule out plain stupidity, but if someone wanted these people to all get picked up in a high profile way, they picked the perfect spot.

I wouldnt either BUT I also dont thinl that they are intelligent enough to put somthing like that together not by themselves anyway ill bet the clintons hav their own contingency plan for trying to conquer this country but that leads me back ro inteligance if its there its someone elses!
You mean there's something that sneakypete posted with which I concur 100%? Perish the thought.
No mercy.
The timing, the well scripted, well prepared, perhaps rehearsed, well presented visual imagery is indeed extremely suspicious.
It's good to see you are coming around. Step away from the dark side,Luke!
