Bush Should Take a Walk Near Home
October 24, 2002
The man who was supposed to be directly in charge of the last three weeks was Bush's favorite, John "Prayer Book" Ashcroft, the attorney general. I think he goes to church to pray against people.
But Ashcroft was nowhere because the president was nowhere. Bush should have been taking a walk through Silver Spring or Rockville. That was his job. He pledged to defend the nation. He could have started by helping to repel the attack on Washington.
It was one thing that Bush was completely disdainful of the World Trade Center. He and his people hate New York. He barely showed for a year. And they blew the attack. They blew it because any threats to New York weren't of such vital interest. New York is filled with blacks and Jews and all kinds of Hispanics and Asians who don't vote right. We don't bother with them during an election, then why stop everything and concentrate on some threat to the place?

A few highlights from Breslins recent editorial. Liberals are really losing it. Sometimes people just need to be slapped, Breslin should be first in line after writing this trash.

Ashcroft could have had National Guard troops from two states, Maryland and Virginia, around schools. One of many inacurracies--Ashcroft has NO control over the National Guard.

Drunk again.

It just goes to show how desperate, and irrelevant, they truly have become. The author of this drivel would have found something to blame on W if he had caught the sniper, himself. He would have said that W had set up the whole thing. Whined for Congress to launch an investigation into what W knew, and when he knew it. He, and is ilk, are cowards and charlatans.

The world has changed and dopes like Breslin and Dowd are left behind without even knowing it.

Jimmy, the train of history has left the station, and you're standing on the platform in a puddle of your own pee...

Jimmy Breslin's attack on the President is outrageous. I mean accusing him of being indifferent and then getting in a dig at Attorney General John Ashcroft's religious beliefs. If you really wanted evidence liberals hate conservatives, its right here.
To: Brytani
I didn't see Breslin walking around the area and making a big media circus out of it. If he's so qualified to make presidential decisions, why isn't
he President?
It's way past time to send this flatulent old swayback to the glue factory.

If Breslin referred to,say, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as "Kareem the Koran Klown" (or some such epithet), he would probably be fired or atleast forced to make a public apology. But, as usual, you can get away with smears against the faith of Christians.

Kareem the Koran Klown LMAO
To: Brytani
Total panic! Mindless stupid democrat!
To: Steve_Seattle
Not only that but if you read between the lines, he was suggesting Bush should go walk through Maryland to get shot.

When John Kennedy was shot in 1963, Lyndon Johnson, succeeding him, was in the driveway outside the White House, falling in behind the hearse for the march up Pennsylvania Avenue to the requiem Mass. The Secret Service and people on his staff were against this. Too dangerous, they kept telling him. "I'd rather be shot than let anybody think I'm afraid to go out on that street," Johnson said. That, of course, we AFTER he cowered like a baby and cried in a back room with NO WINDOWS at the hospital in Dallas and couldn't get on Air Force One and OUT of his OWN state fast enough.
If it's true at all. I'd bet $50 he only did it because he was forced to because everybody else was going to.

If Johnson was so worried about walking down the street, he would have done so in downtown Dallas, but then again he had nothing to worry about.

I've never read Breslin before, but he is a complete imbecile here. He doesn't even have a college level command of the English language.
To: Brytani
Jesus H Christmas, is Breslin still alive?
He hasn't done anything worthwhile since he drove Donald Manes to suicide.
Alzheimers and the diesel fumes on 42nd St. have taken their toll.
Move to somewhere warm already Jimmy, Bloomberg is going to drive the final nail in NYC, give yourself and your family a break.

To: Brytani
If Bush had walked through the streets of Rockville, liberals such as Breslin would have called it a shameless publicity stunt to sway voters before the election. And if a shooting occurred elsewhere while the president was making his walk, they would have said that his shameless stunt had required a reinforced police presence which left other areas more vulnerable. In other words, they would blame him for the shooting.
