Daschle, like Gore and other Democrats, has a habit of changing his tune to fit the current pols. Witness his recent appearance at the AIPAC conference last spring, where he pledged strong support for Israel...I don't know what to believe, but it's fair to say that he seems to change positions as frequently as some people change interns.

Israel rightly concluded the there were no "limits" to the American COMMITMENT to Israel".

Where is the the out rage! The US government took 2.2 Billion Dollars away from our military men and women, who put their life on the line for us every day, so that Israel could maintain their Defense!!!

If Israel has been "grabbing land since 1948" they must be doing it one grain of sand at a time because the last time I checked a map of the middle east, Israel constituted less than 1% of the entire region. It's a tiny sliver of land that you can barely see, surrounded by arab nations that hate them. Where is all this "land grabbing"?
