The employer NEVER pays. No matter how you slice it, the employee pays. You were saying?

...the law fails to address the real cost to employers, which includes paying for overtime, replacement workers and training to fill in for those who go on family leave.

The employer with more than 50 employees is required to keep the job open for the paid-vacationer!

For now.... Remember, liberals always start out slowly and then work there way up to to the real agenda. My guess is the employer and the employee will soon be paying for this and it will be MUCH MUCH MORE than the initial cost. California is already in economical chaos and on the verge of begging the government for a bail out.
