Gore Speech - I WAS THERE!

I haven't seen the news coverage and I want to know if they edited me out. During the Q&A part I got up and interrupted him and made a statement, "We are more afraid of Bush than Saddam." He responded that perhaps I was joking and I said, "No - I am not joking. We are more afraid of Bush than Saddam." He got very nervous and basically said something like "we can't go there".

I was just wondering if that got censored out.

As to Gore's speech - I was uninspired. He did say more that I agreed with that I expected - but equivacated as to what to do. I was hoping for a strong firm statement of opposition. Basically what I hear was he supported the war - but should wait for more support.

So the left has convinced a number of mostly young and naive Americans that President Bush is more frightening than Saddam Hussein? Isn't that special. Rather than working to help unite the country after 9-11, rather than lifting up Americans by highlighting our common strengths and noble works as a nation, rather than working with the President to fight the terrorists who murdered over 3000 of our own, the Democratic Party continues to tear us down as a people and a nation, divide us into groups by age, sex, race for partisan poltical purposes, undermine the President and his administration when the President has a whole world of crazy on his shoulders. Today's Democratic Party will go down in history as one of the most cowardly and destructive examples of partisanship and betrayal in history.
