I would love to go back...it's been 2 years now since our last visit! Maybe next summer...although I would love to see a little snow. Someday, I'll tell you about our hike up Harney Peak Easter of 95'. Oh that was special thanks to the weather.

Oh,she'll just threaten to drive up there.
The reality is she'll beg relentlessly to go there! We have high drama around here!

Good evening everyone!!

I'm so sorry I haven't been on in the past two days. I did get to read mail call yesterday and it was wonderful. Thank you for all of our troops that sent in an email. Your words of encouragement and inspiration are second to none. Sharing a bit of yourselves is very generous and endearing to those of us that wonder if anyone really thinks dysfunctional human beings are a good source of entertainment. (I don't think any of my Fellow Canteeners are dysfunctional..I'm speaking for myself and people equally clueless like myself).

I want to send a big THANK YOU!! to all of our VETERANS!

If you are sitting near a veteran or are related to one, please give them a huge hug from me and I want them to know how much I appreciate them!

Also, if you are a VETERAN: *SMOOCH* to you!! Thank you for your service!!

She wants us to move back there and that's one of the main reasons!!! We have been hearing about her wanting to drive for several years now. My son would be driving by now if we were still there!

I am in no rush as you can imagine.

As for the trip to Harney...4 inches of snow (to start) and a group of us with first, second, and fifth graders. Definitely a story of negative peer pressure, but with adults instead. The video camera FROZE and visibility at the tower...Zilch.
My daughter said, "I just want my Easter basket".
