I agreed with all your points on that post til this one, then ya lost me. I can think of a few times when the "managing" was not too good. Can you?
Of course. Buffalo and such. The difference being that the sportsmen eventually come to their senses and realize "hey, we better take better care of these or we'll not have any more to hunt" while the treehuggers NEVER come to their senses. To the TH management means getting humans out of the loop entirely and letting the herd die off of natural causes.
