In honor of all the victims of the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks, MY business will remain open. MY employees will be hard at work. ME and MY employees will be determined on that day, just like every day since 9/11, that no group of filthy, neanderthal, freedom-hating, misfit islamic jihadists is going to force us to change our lives.

Symbolic gestures will not win this war; hard work, sacrifice, meaningful actions and the willingness no make the difficult choices are the key to defeating and eliminating these vermin.

For those inclined toward symbolic gestures, how about taking a military veteran out for lunch during your lunch break (or breakfast, or dinner or whatever).

That's a great idea!

I would categorize that as a meaningful action, though, rather than a symbolic gesture.

No way. September 11 should be a time of anger and resolution, not weeping and moaning.
