You are so correct. People can be downright stupid about a wild animal.

My husband will kill me for telling this story on him, so shush, okay?

We live in the city limits on two heavily wooded lots. A couple of years ago, a mama coon showed up with her three adorable little cubs. We found her den at the back of our property. My husband fell in love with the little rascals and started leaving food in the farther lot for them. Soon, they were traipsing up to the house to wait for food, even in the afternoon. Did he learn his lesson? Noooo...he kept on feeding them, even though he had been born and raised on a rural farmplace and knew better. One afternoon, I came home to find them all asleep on the deck, even. Well, one night he forgot to close the side gararage door until late and mama coon got trapped. Mama coon got up into the attic and tore up cable, electrical, and phone lines...not to even mention the insulation. He learned his lesson that night for sure. LOL

True enjoyment is a skunk in your garage and the resulting fun when you walk into the garage and turn on the lights. Yes sir. Quite amusing.
