Scowcroft is wrong about the Arab world. That region is not stable. A stable Mideast is a total fiction. The culture is stagnent, not "stable". In the final assessment, the only thing these people have left to give them any purpose in life is conflict and death. The daily bloodbaths over there prove it. When millions of people have nothing left except to make war....that's not a healthy thing for the West, which is stable but not "stagnent".

STOP the next generation computer chip manufacturer INTEL from putting a $6 Billion plant in China making thingss we don't even have. Stop the gushing hemmorhage of U.S. $$$$ to China and start looking to infrastructure here at home. Stop kowtowing to them. They crashed OUR ORION and got paid millions $$$ per day to steal everything from the plane then we withdrew our fleet from the ridiculous area they called their ocean. I will vote for the next person who has the ballocks to say "fxxk YOU" to whomever, whether it is Vincente, China or Daschle, Ken Lay or Bernie Ebbers, or Time/Warner. I am sick and tired of pussilanimity.

Kissinger and Scowcroft are ignorant of the facts and base their opinions on false premises combined with cowardice.
They do NOT represent or fight for "America's interests", any more then Carter or Clinton did. They represent their interests, and the interests of their personal allies, nothing more.

"As a Chinese, I hope America starts a war and gets entangled in Iraq and America's influence in the world continues to decline. I couldn't help myself, though, pointing out America's attacking Iraq doesn't serve America's own national interests, which most objective observers would acknowledge."Being Chinese and a supporter of Kissinger is supposed to convince Americans that you are an "objective observer"?? This from someone who's country is selling the weapons to Saddam and upgrading the range of his scuds, as well as aiding Afghan terrorists?
Cut me a break. Jiang ought to be happy with a US invasion of Iraq. Just THINK of all the money he can pull in by illegaly selling MORE missiles to Saddam.

Someone earlier expressed surprised that any Chinese actually had access to a computer. Too funny, but, seriously, do they????
