Thanks for the pings!
It is going to be a hot week here.

"Temperatures will soar into low 100s at some spots in southwestern Oregon..."

I really hope the weather forcasters are wrong about this.
Blackie, when they forcast 100 degrees for Portland, they usually mean it will be 100 at the airport, which is on the Columbia River. That translates into about 3 to 5 degrees hotter inland. I'm not looking forward to it! ;o)
I hope it's cooler in your neck of the woods!

Among the names of fires, I missed this one as it had not started at the time I put the above together.

HEMLOCK FIRE -- There's a killer for you.

hemlock (hèm´lòk´) noun
1. a. Any of various coniferous evergreen trees of the genus Tsuga of North America and eastern Asia, having small cones and short, flat leaves with two white bands underneath. b. The wood of such trees, used as a source of lumber, wood pulp, and tannic acid.
2. a. Any of several poisonous plants of the genera Conium and Cicuta, such as the poison hemlock. b. A poison obtained from the poison hemlock.
[Middle English hemlok, poisonous hemlock, from Old English hymlice, hemlic.]

Thanks for the link.  In 1997 on page 1 of The Oregonian was a photo of liberals, homosexuals and pro-death advocates dancing and cheering as they celebrated the passage of the Assisted Suicide law.  Four years later, on 9/11/2001, around the world other pro-death advocates, the Muslims, cheered and celebrated the death and murder of those in the WTC towers.

Same culture of death.  Same spirit.

Joh 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The Hemlock Society is about changing laws.  This gif is from its website.

Dan 7:25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Founded in 1980 by Derek Humphry, the Hemlock Society is the oldest and largest right-to-die organization in the U.S.. Hemlock has almost 25,000 members in 70 chapters across the country, Hemlock USA is a not-for-profit organization chartered as a 501 (c) (4 ) corporation. The Hemlock Foundation funds the educational and charitable parts of the Hemlock operation. It is a 501 (c) (3) corporation.
Incrementally, America is being destroyed.  The homosexuals, the abortionists, the euthanasiasts, enviro-wackos and animal rights wackos said they wanted just a little freedom, but they want license, lasciviousness, control, to change laws and to require the rest of society to bow to their satanic agenda.  These laws can be used to bring in worse laws and to enforce death on those determined by evil men to be undesirable.  Failure to stand against the cultural communists has brought bondage and an outpouring of the wrath of G~d.  It has started and it will only get worse.

Morning!!! Sen. Gordon Smith was in Medford today and interviewed on KCMX radio. Next week he hopes to have President Bush here to view the damage this fire has caused. As Sen. Smith said, "this is ground zero" in this battle. From the last report of the meeting (sorry...I've had a 2 day blinding migrane and could not drive to attend!)even the enviro freaks are willing now to talk about thinning. A proposal was made by Jackson County Commissioner Ric Holt to recover the burned timber and use it to fund the schools so the liberals can stop taxing us to death!!! Smith seems hopeful that this situations is going to change. He says he sees no problem in the house, but a few senators need their mind changed....PLEASE send your senator the interview with the helicopter pilot. He discussed it this morning and wants to push that notion that the USFS is NOT working in anyone's interest. Smith said they "let" Daschle's recent exemption for SD for thinning go through so they could "prove" the need for all of Western States and that the biggest problem with the eastern senators is that none of their land is federally owned like MOST of ours is and they just can't relate.

It's terribly hot today and supposed to reach 110. Pray for rain. I fear the Lord is tired of listening to this sinner.
