I can't believe that Israel is cutting a deal with "IslamoNazis".
Turkey is not an "IslamoNazi". They are a NATO member, one of the jumping off points for our attack against IRAQ, and trades with Israel. They could be far worse.
Turkey is our steadfast friend, as strong and consistent as Israel. At some risk and discomfort for the themselves, the Turkish friends consistently stand with us against
Arab Muslim countries. Turkish Americans are very patriotic. In contrast to CAIR, the Association of Turkish Americans condemned the Sep 11 attacks without any "ifs" or "buts" and did so in a wonderful letter to President Bush on the very same day (or next morning) after the attacks.
In 500 years, ever since the Sultan invited the Jews expelled from Spain by Isabella to settle in his land, Jews has never experienced any persecution in Turkey. Turkey has very friendly relationship with Israel, and it is one of the most favorite destinations for Israeli tourists.
In sum, you must be thinking of the Arab World, not Turkey, when you are puzzled by this agreement on the supply of water.
