don't believe all that talk about breathtaking landscapes, wide open spaces, and such. West Texas is mostly composed of landfill brought from mexico and medical waste from New Jersey. The air smells of sulpher, and 120 degrees at midnight is the norm. don't let them sucker you into visiting, stay in your cities. I'll second that. Everyone stay where you are. Stay out of West Texas it's toooooooo dangerous for tenderfeet.

If you drive to Lajitas, you will have the opportunity to run over numerous tarantulas crossing the road. I probably flattened 20 of them. Don't tell PETA.
