He did in the statement with the good news,he heard someone say Thank you Lord and he said I agree-not exact wording.Well, if he did then at least he hasn't been wearing it on his sleeve. Being an atheist, I do get frustrated when, in situations like this, people keep thanking God, when it's the humans who did all the work.
I am very impressed with all that the humans did (& were able to do because of preparation & know-how) to save these miners!

Maybe you're watching a different show than I, but on those I've watched (CNN, MSNBC, and Fox), humans have been thanked very profusely. Your begrudging the mention of God in this circumstance strikes me as very small, as He (since you don't believe in Him) should be a matter of indifference to you. Will you begrudge those nine miners thanking God when they come up, as surely they will? I don't wish to get into a theological debate on this, but only to ask why you want to throw cold water on a happy moment. Just my .02.

Your really bummin me out. I am quite sure there is a many God fearing men/women working to get them miners out. So just let it rest.
