You think she was married off to a Mormon polygamist?
Except for this comment, I agree with your analysis. I really think they need to look at the father & possibly the other family members. Ricci obviously is not the guy or they would have indicted him by now.
You better put your flame suit on though, because there are many who will accuse you of being a Mormon basher.
I think Uncle Tom is more the villain than the father. When something "happens," Tom is usually the one involved.
I, too, think the Enquirer's article has a lot of truth to it; my feeling was that Liz was taken by some gay/gays who wanted to send a message to the father/Tom and the other brother. I do think she's still alive.
I am in Ohio and I don't know anything about Utah, but here, almost anyone in construction would know that a floor plan and plot plan are filed to get a building permit. These blueprints can be viewed and copied by the public and are open to the public.
I think the police in the Smart case are clueless, and they floated the story that only someone that knew the family or a family member might be involved because the abductor knew where the child slept. I have also noticed they are not stressing that point any longer.
I would construct a list of everyone that has ever been in that house. Since the father built the house and contracted the work out he could put a list together easily enough. The idea that this was a staged elopement can't be overlooked as well.
The following is FYI on child lures and founder
Long before Ken Wooden was known as a child safety expert, he was heralded as a champion for children. During his years as investigative reporter for network television, Ken's work consistently revolved around issues affecting children, particularly sexual exploitation. Feeling frustrated after years of just reporting on the problem, Ken decided it was time to search for solutions.
A published author with a background in education, he devised a plan to interview convicted sex offenders and abductors. During hundreds of such interviews, Ken uncovered the diverse and imaginative strategies used by sexual predators to lure victims. These "lures," coupled with Ken's proven prevention techniques, are the foundation of all Child Lures prevention materials.
Ken is a familiar face on the news magazine and morning show circuit, and Oprah Winfrey has touted her program featuring Ken Wooden and Child Lures as her most important ever. Ken works tirelessly to make his vision of a safer world for children a reality.
Child Lures Parent Guide: How to Keep Your Child Safe From Exploitation, Abduction, Drugs & School Violence, (softcover) Child Lures Prevention (also available in Spanish
The research-based Child Lures School Program teaches students life skills to keep them safe from sexual abuse, date rape, abduction, Internet crime, drugs and school violence. Lesson plans are provided for both elementary and middle/high school students, and many of the safety strategies learned can be used through adulthood.
The Program consists of a straightforward training video and Presenter's Instruction Guide with easy-to-follow scripted lesson plans, practice scenarios, follow-up activities, comprehension assessment, and tools for parental involvement. A student video with four realistic dramatizations allows students to clearly visualize just how easily they may be lured into dangerous situations. A Child Lures Parent Guide is sent home with each student so Moms, Dads, and other caregivers can reinforce prevention strategies at home.
Acclaimed for its innovative and comprehensive approach to prevention, the Child Lures School Program is used in over 1000 school systems nationwide. Its non-threatening style is widely embraced by educators, psychologists, parents, and students alike. It is endorsed by the National Association of Elementary School Principals and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Curtis asked Ken are they sick, 'is' there a cure or treatment?
Ken replied "Yeah, the cure is Dahmer , John Wayne Gacy, THAT is the only cure!"

Instead, he said something like.. it's irrelevant or nothing to be concerned with. Someone else might say "that's absurd" or "yeah, so what. I had porn on my computer. Who cares!"
I never heard Ed Smart's reply to the gay porn issue. Is this really what he said?
