Could you tell me how those of you who dislike Bush gave him the benefit of the doubt? Did you wait until the entire picture unfolded before you slammed him as not supporting Israel? How about during the China plane incident..did you wait to see what happened? Did you wait until all facts were available on the reasons for the steel tariff or CFR before attacking? How about stem cell...anyone willing to give him the benefit of the doubt?

I have had disagreements with the President, especially after he broke his campaign PROMISE concerning stem cell research. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, all the way until he made his TV announcement. It was pure politics and I'm guilty of actually believing he would stand up to the media and the left and actually live up to his promise and do the right thing.
But what truly sickens me about Bush is that he unfortunately has gathered supporters that think he needs a defense team every step of his Presidency. Not just a fact-based defense team, but a rabid dog defense team.
You can think you're right about everything, but you're not.
