I find it amazing when anyone in this world has an open heart with trust and love to offer and can find another with similar generosity --- those two stand a chance to make happiness.
Many people never realize how damaged they are when their hearts have become hard and their fears overrule their love, but that's inevitable when people go through relationships (other people) faster than the calendar pages turn. They fear the next person who says they love them will be just as shallow and manipulative as they were themselves the last time they said they loved someone.
I hope that you're not implying me, for my heart is very open.
I dated a woman for a year and half, of which I later found out that she used me for emotional (no, not sexual) and financial reasons.
Am I upset about it? Not anymore. She can have her single life, and I'll carry on dating, if a woman is willing to date. However, there aren't many receivers as far as I can tell.
