Everthing in the above article may be true, but it is also true that some within the Church also proclaimed Father Judge a homosexual, but not an active one. I wish I could remember his name; but that I believe it was that very handsome Roman Catholic priest who is seen sometimes on MSNBC as an "expert" who also declared Father Judge gay, but an inactive gay, back when the Church scandal was breaking a few month ago. He brought it up as a way of saying that inactive homosexuals are okay in the priesthood because celibacy was the key. It was either that brown haired priest from NYC who hosts his own show on the EWTN /
Telicare networks or it was that gray haired youthful looking priest that runs a Catholic info center in DC who also had his own literature show on EWTN.

Thank you so much for finding and posting this article. It was scary how soon after his death the title "homosexual/gay priest" was applied to Father Judge, and with no proof at all. The Firefighters loved him and he was a big part of their life inside the firehouse and inside their homes - they loved him because he loved them and their families and he was always there for them celebrating weddings, funerals and baptisms. I cannot imagine an "openly gay" priest would have been welcomed (and how would he have the time if he was so active within the homosexual agenda world) with open arms into those men's public and private lives.

Thank you for this posting. I thought that there was something fishy about the claims that Father Mike was gay.

This is almost unbelievable! The Liberal Establishment media is freakin Orwellian in its adherence to dogma and lies.
This is the absolute first time I've ever heard this and I have my nose in the paper, the Internet, TV and radio every day. Unbelievable.

i wondered about the reports I heard at the time of 9-11. It just did not seem 'kosher' for all the gay information at that time. May God forgive those who have defamed this priest.
Prayer bump in honor of Father Mychal Judge.

Would love to question -- on camera -- the editor who asked "what does the truth matter, it's about self-esteem of a downtrodden group". You have to document stuff like that. Thanks for the post.

If the story wasn't about Brendan Fay, Brendan was not interested.
That's all I need to know.
I'm not Catholic so I don't really have a dog in this fight.
But my suspicions did go on high alert when I heard some news sources spouting
loving portaits of the gay heroic priest.
Well, I've learned the "media" information is only to read. But not trusted until verified.

He was a celibate Catholic priest and nothing more. Then this is all that matters; he adhered to his vows.

I guess from their logic, if you minister to homosexuals, you must be "openly gay". I guess we can conclude from the same logic that Mother Theresa was a leper and Jesus, Himself, was a prostitute.
Has somebody pinged MRC, Hannity or Rush yet?

It's so incredibly selfish to use another man's life and death in this way. Those who did so need to repent for serious sins committed.

Great post! His memory/legacy needs to be restored for who he really was and not for what these gay groups portray him to be. I always wondered how you can say a priest is gay while he is supposed to be celebate.
This positive article needs to be read by all of America, especially Catholics. They have been beaten up enough over the last few months.
Take heart, there are celebate priests out there doing what is right.

"Gannett responded by citing law that you can't defame a dead person. I wrote back to say that I wasn't bringing a defamation claim; I only wanted the truth about Father Mike to be published."Typical. Gannett hasn't been interested in the truth for at least 30 years, when I read the San Bernardino Sun (Gannett) as a kid.

I am glad I read this and I e-mailed it to some friends, hopefully they'll e-mail it too and more and more people will know the truth.

His funeral was one of the very few attended by Hillary. I'm sure it would irk her to know that she "wasted" her time on a heterosexual priest.

An unmarried, beautiful girl in the fish market became pregnant. Her parents were furious. To protect the real father, the girl blamed a local monk known for his purity and simplicity.
When the monk was told of the accusatiions, he said, "Is that so?"
When he was furiously condemned by townspeople, who had formerly looked up to him, and admired him, he said, "Is that so?"
When the girls parents brought the baby to him, and demanded that he care for the baby, he took the baby and said, "Is that so?" He cared for the baby, feeding it, cleaning it, and holding it.
After a year, the girl confessed that the monk was not the father, the father was a boy who worked in a nearby market. The boy acknowledged his paternity.
The parents went to the monk and begged his forgiveness, crying. They asked for the child back.
The monk gave the child back, saying, "Is that so?"
