Old Glory shall fly ever high / This is my pledge till I die/ Hear this voice filled with pride/ LONG LIVE AMERICA!
This is the refrain to a patriotic song rarely heard but only recently getting more local attention in the San Francisco Bay Area. Ed Manuel is a Walnut Creek, CA. resident, onetime city of Hercules mayor who wrote the lyrics and melody to this wonderful and timely patriotic song. He is an American citizen who came from the Phillpines and penned this song because he truly loves the United States. He has no formal singing experience, but he wants all Americans to hear what he has titled "AMERICA BELOVED" the "singing pledge of allegiance. He has asked me as his friend to help him introduce this song to all patriotic Americans. I thought freerepublic was the first and proper venue. Go to www.nevereverforget911.com to hear the complete song.
Vote.com is asking voters across America if the court's ruling was right or wrong
Don't be fooled, America! Yes, the Ninth District Court has delayed a ruling, but this is only a tactic to convince the enraged public that the issue is settled. But it isn't! There is an automatic 45 day waiting period before judgment so that parties can file appeals!
So, in reality, nothing has been taken off the table!
All votes on this online referendum at Vote.com, will automatically be sent to your congressional representative, senators and the president!
Tell a friend! Easy to email, just type www.vote.com
The idea has great potential -- any of you interested in starting a similar FReep on the 11th of each month? Wonder how many cities we can get involved?
