If disgruntled dads want to join the mean mommies, I am all for it...lets not forget, there are many families out there, where there is only a mom, who must act as mom and dad, and families where there is only a dad, who must act as both mom and dad...and families where there is both mom and dad, but they have different modes of raising the kids...

So disgruntled dads, and mean mommies, may have a lot of good info to share...

How about FREEPRITCH for the name of the bird.

In August a few well placed FREEPRITCH bombs suggesting that people join the monthly donors, up their monthly donoations or donate early might work. Or even to start saving their evening pocket change.

Then, later, the creepy and truly ugly cat bombs could be used, warning that it will return. This thing gives me the chills,like I'm looking at something that sneaked out of hell while God had his back turned.

Got an email from a Napa Freeper lurker advising me that Ralph's had Copper River Sockeye on sale. By signing up for the Ralph's card, it brought the price down from 7.99/ lb to 3.99/lb.

I will be grilling half of a chunk tonight and the other half tomorrow night. If it is really good, I will buy some chunks and freeze them.

No way was I going to pay $20 something per pound!

This next one is BRUTAL! If any of you are catfishermen, you know what all goes on in reducing your catch to wonderful filets or steaks, and will probably be ok with this pic.

This pic should only be used in extreme cases of recalcitrance on the moochers' part to come correct with their donations.

This pic will make TheBird and TheCat look like beloved housepets that we'd all love to have in our living room, or even our bed room.

I am typing all this drivel to warn away the faint of heart, those contemplating an afternoon snak, the aged or the infirm, small children and pets.

Without seeing this, I suggested that the bird could announce the next freepathon and to start saving the loose change.

The main team needs to take a break and think about this stuff. Then maybe like next Tuesday, WI Mom and Bad Joe can start a thread of good ideas of what to do before the next Freepathon.

If every monthly donor had a blurb on their home page about becoming a monthly donor, a couple of links to why, and a sign up link for new monthly donors, we could probably pull a few each week. (That's my idea for next week). Maybe someone with html skills could come with a minature Freeperritch bird with the appropriate links. Then we could just add that to our home pages.
