Freddie Prinze Jr. claims to be a Republican

Not everyone in Hollywood loves Hillary. During an appearance Monday night on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno, actor Freddie Prinze Jr. promised “I’m not voting for Hillary Clinton” because “I’m a Republican!”

Prinze’s comments came as fellow guest Bill O’Reilly of the Fox News Channel and Leno raised a potential presidential bid by Senator Clinton.

MRC analyst Patrick Gregory tracked down the exchange which occurred on the May 20 Tonight Show. Prinze was a guest to promote the new Scooby Doo movie in which he stars.

O’Reilly on Senator Clinton: “I think she’s got a constituency among unions, among minorities, and, because that’s who’s going to get the money that she takes from you, and I, and Freddie.”

Freddie Prinze, Jr.: “[unintelligible] take my money, wait a minute!”

O’Reilly: “Freddie, trust me, she’s taking your money.”

Prinze: “I’m not voting for Hillary Clinton!”

O’Reilly: “She’s coming to your house, gonna take your wallet right out of there-”

Prinze: “I’m a Republican!”

For more about Prinze, check the Internet Movie Database’s biography of him: http://us.imdb.com/Name?Prinze+Jr.,+Freddie

Not only have I never seen any of his movies, I’ve never even heard of most of them. I guess all the big stars are with Hillary.

Hmmmmm....it seems that more and more actors are admitting to being Republicans. I have never seen any of his movies but, it certainly is great to hear ofsomeone in Hollywood who doesn't worship Hillary.

I like it.

John Stewart called out Susan Sarandon. He called her a pinko. I admire his restraint. If I really let fly what I think of her, I would get bounced from FR.

Does that mean Buffy won't be renewed for a 7th season?

His daddy, who was very funny, was probably a Democrat.
Junior is wise not to follow in his footsteps.

Freddie Prinze Jr. claims to be a Republican

I thought there was more to him than being extremely likable.

Remember, that woman from NYPD Blue had to explain to a powers-that-be at a studio that she was not a Republican? She was about to have her career ruined.

I suspect, since he is already an established heartthrob among the teenybopper set, he is too hot a commodity to lose.

However, with the Clintons out of office (and no IRS at their beck and call), he won't have to fear any repercussion from them.

I would have loved to seen Jon Stewart's comments on Brain-Dead Talking and her reaction to the comments.

Hey if one of Hollywood's leading actresses likes him I guess they share the same views. Not every one in Tinseltown is a Democrat. :)

"... WELL THAT'S THE END OF HIS CAREER"

I dunno. You can get away with a LOT in Hollywood if you're real good-lookin'.

‘Last Boy Scout’ sends Girl Scout cookies

05/21/02 - OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM (AFPN) -- Senior Airmen Jeramie Kelsay (left) and Alyssa Gerth, aircraft maintainers deployed to Southwest Asia from Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., take time out from their work in the hot desert sun to enjoy some Girl Scout cookies. The cookies were a gift from actor Bruce Willis who purchased 12,000 boxes of cookies for shipment to U.S. troops serving in and near Afghanistan. (Photo by Staff Sgt. Sonny Cohrs)

Link here.

I generally despise celebrities, but once in a while, one of them will do something that doesn't piss me off. I don't know about Bruce Willis' political leanings, but he behaved like a standup guy in this case.

Yeah, but remember that Kurt Russell is a Republican and Goldie Hawn is a Democrat.

Love is blind. I recall that Debra Saunders' husband is a liberal Democrat.

If I'm not mistaken, SMG met Freddie Prinze while they were making a film and as it happens there was a real life romance behind the scenes.
