My Favorute Reagan story is the one about the kid who wakes up on Christmas nmorning only to see nothing under the tree, as he looks out the window with tears in his eyes he see a frsh pile of horse manuer on the ground and starts jumping for joy. His older brother asks him "why are you so happy, you got nothing for christmas" the bot replies but look! his brother says "at what" the boy says that manuer, his brother said "So what, it's just crap" the boy then said "But I know there is a pony out there somewhere"

OPTIMISM Reagan style :-)

Ronald Reagan has been, and always shall be my personal hero, bar none. The 80's were a scary but hopeful time, and Reagan was the right man in the right place at the right time.

God bless you sir.

Here's a timeless speech, how this quote would fit perfectly for what we are facing now.

You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.
