First the Black Bear Caller Ranock on pipes one of the greatest charge tunes of all time.
Second, each of America's service tunes Anchors Aweigh, Semper Paratus, Marine Corps Hymn, Off We Go Into The Wild Blue Yonder, and The Caisons Go Rolloing Along.
Third, The Minstrel Boy.
Fourth, Gary Owen.
Fifth, Come out you Black and Tan.
Sixth, Britania Rules the Waves (they do not anymore but it was still a good song).
Seventh, La Marsailles.
Eighth, Meadowlands ( The Red Army's marching song.)
Ninth, Ruben James.
Tenth the March of the Corps of Cadets.
Now I would also add my own sentimental favorite "The Four Of Us." I do not not disagree with any of the other selections posted but all of the above should be considered as great military music. Maybe someone would add "Duescheland Uber Alles." Although I am not a big fan of the Third Reich it was martial music that inspired a nation. While we are at it we should add in "Yankee Doodle" the music that gave us our nation. There are a great many other martial tunes that should also be considered and it is probably impossible to list them all.
