Barghouti would add his recommendation and signature, and then relay the request to PA Chairman Arafat. Barghouti stressed that every expense, no matter how small, required Arafat's personal approval

I wish I knew how to send this post to George W. Maybe he wouldn't talk so dumb.

The fact that Yasser Arafat personally approved terrorist funding for Fatah has now become "unequivocally clear."

But, as many people would tell you, "one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter"

And, as others will tell you, Jews and Isrealis deserve it anyway.

So, in short, these revelations, which are not new, will inspire not outrage, but yawns from the rather large Israel-hating constituency (Arabs, Europeans, the American Left) around the world.

While the world sits on their hands and blames Israel, the Israelis will do what they have to do with this information. It's sad, but they are willing to protect themselves and their sovernty whether the nations of the world agree or not, just as we would under the same circumstances.

There comes a time when a nation must act in it's own interests to survive. But, at the same time, there are steps that Israel can take to repair their image, such as ceasing the building of new settlements in traditional Palistinian territory. It seems that Sharon is now willing to back off a bit from his aggressive push in that area, but perhaps a bit too late to make a real impression.

The whole situation over there is sad to watch. I really don't think it will be resolved. The three "great" monotheistic religions of the world (Judiasm, Christianity and Islam) started directly in the middle east from the same root, Abraham, and now we are witnessing the ultimate clash of religious ideals in the same spot. Only direct intervention by God Himself will resolve this one.

Arrafat may be neutralized, but the basic problem in that area will only get worse until it builds into the greatest conflagration the world has ever witnessed.

Go ahead....... stone me. ;-)
