Johnny Shear's apparent goal here is to associate abuse of power, such as occured at Waco, with conservativism. I am here to tell him that ain't gonna happen.
Toward that end, Johnny Shear also seeks to defame conservatism as (his words paraphrased): " conspiracy kooks, ultra right wing, govt hating zealots, the Timothy McVeighs of the world, paranoids, and freaks... while reiterating ad nauseum that unlike the rest here, he is a "normal conservative republican, " Furthermore that he is embarassed and ashamed to be a part of the likes of us here on FR.
Seems to me, Johnny Shear needs to go back to the democratic underground from whence he came where the comrads there toe the party line lock step inspite of any atrocities or injustices it's members should rightfully be held liable. I'm here to tell Johnny Shear that conservatives don't play that game. Moreover, we are free and independant thinkers who can look at an issue to call a spade a spade. And we don't care the political affiliation of the offender/s. We stand for what is right.
However, in this case, Janet Reno, in whom Bill Clinton stated his trust, was in charge of the Waco atrocity. The blood of those innocent children and infants is on her hands. Today, rather than in jail for her crimes, she is running for Gov of Florida. And Johnny Shear is obviously here posing as a conservative to defend her.
The FREAK Branch Davidians "Lit the match" simply because they were brain-washed by the king of all FREAKS, David Koresh. They wanted to kill themselves in order to make some kind of Government Hating statement...At least that's my guess...Who the hell knows what was going on in their poluted minds??? I don't know why they did it nor do I care. I honestly do say Good Riddence to Freaks like them. With them dead, they pose no threat to me and my family in the future. What is disgusting is that they burned those children to death with them rather than simply LET THEM WALK OUT TO FREEDOM like the other children already had...CHILDREN THAT ARE ALIVE TODAY!!!!
