This post actually does a better job of convincing me than your previous one.

Let me ask you one thing tho. Don't you see a very enticing incentive to buy black market under a NRST?

To tell you the truth, I think I'm just about sold on the NRST. Although I'm not going to give up on the Simple Flat Income Tax. Mostly becuase it seems so simple and in-fallable.

Perhaps, but who is really going to sell in it other than those already doing so.

It's the business selling the goods that is liable and that takes the hit, not the customer.

90% of retail sales dollars flow through the 10% representing the largest businesses.

Any substantive black market just pushes prices down and discourages new entries into the black market.
