I look at the issue of guns to be one that cuts across the political spectrum. Of course, one needs to avoid the knee-jerk patry response and think for themselves. I've never understood why people automatically assume that gun ownership is a 'right-wing' position. We can only win if we have people from every niche is society.

Good point. As long as they vote pro-gun I don't care how they organize themselves. If they feel more comfortable expressing themselves through a gay group its fine by me.
