I just realized that in my previous post I didn't comment on the new FR format. I like it and will learn how to navigate around the site.

Suggestion: Is there a way to comment on the survey? For example: In today's survey, the survey is slightly flawed.  CFR has a severance clause in it.  If the Supremes find a section of CFR unlawful, they can throw out that portion of the law and still allow the rest to become law.  Therefore, in the survey, I voted that CFR will pass, but mentally reserved the fact portions will be thrown out.

I agree this is very confusing. It takes a long time to sift through all the subjects. The breaking news sidebar was very useful for a quick view of the latest events. I have been a reader for two years and would like to have the old format back. Why fix something that was not broken?

Needs a little tweaking here and there but,

the new layout is just fine!

At first blush, I don't care for the new format.

The thing I like the least is the division of posts into multiple forms. At a minimum, I think there should be an option to Read All Forums.

I like to occasionally Freep at work. The current layout is too obviously 'not work', whereas the old layout was a little more 'work' like. This will certainly guarantee less participation by many cubicle-bound freepers, including myself. It would be nice if we could switch between the old format and the new one.

This new style will work ONLY if we can have our SIDEBARS back! Like people who don't have much time have said, they make it easy to scan for what is important! I tried to subscribe to the sidebars, but they are not showing up!

I'm still trying to get used to the new layout. Change is always difficult, especially when it's happening to those things that we are most comfortable with, like FR. Thanks for all your tireless efforts, though.

One small suggestion: it took me a while to subscribe to all of the topics on the topic page (not every state, though, just my own). Can you make just one link that would subscribe to every topic in each section?

I agree you can no longer select more than 50 post to view at a time, When the pace picks up it will be impossible to keep up.

I've been playing with it for about 30 minutes now and I'm already getting used to it. I'm beginning to like the new look.

If I would have seen this thread 15 minutes ago, I had a different opinion.

I normally don't jump in at this late of date, but I think it important for myself (and everyone else) to voice their opinion on this. My opinion is as follows:

THIS IS TERRIBLE - BRING BACK THE OLD FORMAT!!!!!!!

Thank you (glad to see that this posting format was brought back as well).
