Honestly, as a proud American (and no, I'm not Jewish) I'm a little ashamed of our flip-flopping and hand wringing here. I understand the ramifications on our war on terror if Israel is unleashed, but my God! We wouldn't tolerate this for one second if it were happening to us, and it's heartbreaking to watch Israel restrain itself in the face of these barbaric provocations simply because we demand it.
