This is an especially insideous urban legend.
Glad to see David Emery debunk it.
Sorry, tin-foil hat fans.

It is absurd and a tremendous waste of time to even respond to such ideas.

Too bad there are so many crazy people around these days.

I've got a question. We have seen the planes hitting the towers plenty of times so why doesn't the Pentagon simply release all frames of the video. It just doesn't make sense.

BTW, a lot of people who recognize the technique used by the conspiracy monger here, and who know that it is nonsense, nevertheless believe in JFK conspiracy stories. The technique and the misrepresentation of evidence for political goals is exactly the same in that case.

Let's conduct an experiment.

Take an aluminum can.

Fill it with jet fuel.

Seal it up.

Shoot out of end of potato gun at brick wall, 25 yards away.

Do you notice the nice, orange and blue flames as the can melts into a puddle of molt?

Secondly, just because the max airspeed of a 757 is around 250, that is not considering velocity gained by a plunge in altitude of 4 to 5 thousand feet, in a short amount of time.

A few days ago I came home from work and my little girl (2years) was running around wearing a little beanie made of tinfoil.
I couldn't refrain from laughing out loud.
Does she know something I don't know or is she going to grow up thinking that the poop in her diaper is not really poop at all but a government conspiracy to sell more diapers.
Should I be concerned or is she just a kid? I didn't express my concern to my wife (who probably assisted in the construction of the hat) as she is concerned enough with me and my time spent on FreeRepublic

This is the first time I heard this partucular tinfoil hat conspiracy theory. Oh well, it's probably better to put the rumor to rest BEFORE it becomes common knowlege.

I READ THE REVIEWS ON THE PLANE CRASHING INTO THE PENTAGON AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT COULD OR COULD NOT BE TRUE, HOWEVER I HAVE ONE QUESTION. IF THE PLANE WHICH IS MADE UP OF STEEL AND IRON AND COPPER AND ALL SORTS OF METAL ALL WERE DESTROYED, THEN HOW COULD THEY HAVE FOUND BODY PARTS OF VICTIMS WHICH ARE COMPOSSED OF SKIN AND BONES.
IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE. WHAT PROCESS OF IDENTIFYING THESE BODY PARTS COULD BE DONE WITH ALL THAT HEAT.
THAT INTENSE HEAT WHICH MADE STEEL MELT AND REINFORCED CONCRET TURN TO POWDER AND THEY SAY THAT HUMAN REMAINS WERE FOUMD, I WONDER...DOES ANYONE OR HAS ANYONE SEEN ANY OF THE VICTEMS FAMILES FROM THAT PLANE CRASH?
