Don't you understand the program yet? You see, here is how it is....the govenment can own land, and will tell you what you can and cannot do with your land, and guess what? The government does not care one bit whether you agree or disagree. Why? Because government has become our task master, and we serve it. It no longer serves us.

This journalist has a very good sense of timing, pacing and icon destroying. Better writing and style than you typically see in the big city press. Love the soggy McMuffin analogy. E-Mail? I want to send him a complement.

I also enjoy the journalist's visual description of the "Green Party" politico gleefully receiving greenbacks in hand. Irony and subtextual sarcasm. Great.

Moore was comparably impassioned about Sierra Pacific Industries' recently approved Timber Harvest Plan for Sunny Brae. "They shouldn't be cutting the trees down in the first place," Moore said

Where does he think the paper to print his books comes from anyway?

May Michael Moore fall under a gasoline truck and die, tasting his own blood.

Moore dismissed criticism over his purchase of a million-dollar home. "I'm a millionaire, I'm a multi-millionaire," he proclaimed. "I'm filthy rich. You know why I'm a multi-millionaire? 'Cause multi-millions like what I do.

no one individual should be able to own that much property. This is not his [SPI owner A.A. "Red" Emerson's] property, this is planet Earth and its inhabited by the people who live here and other living things and one individual should not have so much say and power cutting down trees that are that many years old.

The standard rich liberal position - nobody should be allowed to own a lot of property and cut down trees to build a million dollar house except me.

Apparently, in this guy's opinion, it's ok to be a small businessman (and a million dollar house doesn't make big business) if you cannibalize the system and if you are obcene when you talk about Mom and Pop. (Although I agree government should not bail out businesses, and protection should be equal for every citizen.)

Isn't this guy Canadian?
Or is it that he doesn't work for himself? (I guess he does - which communist country could afford him?)

Hey...Home!

I got arrested in the Van Duzen Theatre when I was 18.  lolol

I can tell you alot about that Leftist Rat-Hole, Patchouli-Stinking Sh*t Sty, Arcata but I guess I'll keep it short by saying that if Moore is in Arcata, "The Piss is in the Toliet".

'Nuff Said.

This small business redneck pays nearly 6 figures in commercial property taxes and another small fortune in Franchise and Excise taxes each year to support public schools no sane person would send their progeny to attend.

I want first shot at fat boy. I think I could have him crying like a baby in about 5 seconds.....prove to him I'm a real redneck. Whup his fat loudmouth butt.

Asked about Arcata limiting the number of pattern restaurants to nine, Moore said he didn't think it was a good idea. But what if corporate dominance transforms Arcata into "Anywhere, USA?" "You are in Anywhere, USA," Moore said.

You'd have to drop a nuke on Arcata, and start all over again, to make it 'Anywhere, USA'.

Asked about the proposed Arcata Bottoms cell phone tower.

Arcata Bottoms = Totally barren Tidal flats.

Moore was comparably impassioned about Sierra Pacific Industries' recently approved Timber Harvest Plan for Sunny Brae. "They shouldn't be cutting the trees down in the first place," Moore said. "Who is this company? How come this one company gets to decide, gets to own all this land?"

This guy's so stupid it's not even funny.  Sunny Brae is a "suburb" of Arcata.  "all this land" is about 15 square blocks and most all of the area is second growth.

I think we should grind his fat a$$ up into burgers and send them to the hungry in the Third World.

But that might be cruel to the hungry.
