The ElectricStrawberry and I met, at Park Street, for our usual Saturday FReep of the unwashed communist traitors, it was a cold and blustery day. We were soon joined by Mr. and Mrs Bogunner and at high noon unfolded our flags and signs and prepared to face the foot soldiers of the revolution.
As usual they were slow in coming down from the unspeakable excesses of the night before and were late in showing, what if you were going to have a revolution and you were late?
When they finally showed is was pathetic, they couldn't even lie convincingly, a rather dispitited bunch. Because of the cold we didn't draw the number of supporters that come to look and then stay, but those who passed by expressed their support for us and their disgust for the swine that we were facing.
Electric amd I had brought aome signs, for trial. I had a self supporting one tthat read: WARNING---YOU ARE ABOUT TO ENTER A TERRORIST SUPPORTER ZONE, on side one and, YOU ARE LEAVING A TERRORIST SUPPORTER ZONE, on the other. Electric had a DON'T STEALTH BOMB ME---I'M A CIVILIAN, thanks Seamole., needless to say they weren't well recieved.
Part Two.
At 1330, the second part of the drama unfolded. The free mumia, IAC, ANSWER, and a new front group, Palistinans(sp), showed up and provided the afternoons entertainment. A bunch of 60's commies and people that the INS should take a close look at, set up speakers, started banging drums, speach yelling, and chanting recycled 60's slogans about the Isrealis murdering the guilty, and blaming it all on the good old US of A.
After going through this amusing bit of street theater for about an hour, they marched off down the street to God knows where, sacrifice virgins to Baal?

I wish I could go to another one these noble operations. Do these 5th column demonstrators have clearance with the city, or do they just show up?

Weather--judging by the shaking of our hands out there, must have been pretty chilly.
It’s getting understandably typical that when the weenies say they’ll be there at 12:00, they will be there around 12:30. Of course, Little Bill and I showed up at the customary time of 11:30, so that when they arrived, they could see we’re dedicated. BoGunner and wife were as punctual as always.
Somehow Socialist Sally was right on time and thought we wanted to, you know, shoot the s*** with her and be all one big happy family. She got a “hey” and then some blank distance stares until she felt uncomfortable and walked off to stuff her face on some fried dough (though I did the same thing hours later). The regular few showed up and spoke the regular BS, but were cut off by the pro-Palestinian terrorists and terrorist sympathizers that invaded at 1:30.
My stand—I’m against all suicide bombing of civilians as my sign said “Please Don’t Suicide Bomb Me—I’m a Civilian”. As they walked in their circle, chanting mantras, they walked right by that sign and looked up at it every time. The “American” terrorist sympathizers tried to stand in front of us to block out our signs, but we just held them higher (That’s why mine’s 8 ft. tall). Little Bill’s “WARNING: You are entering a terrorist supporter zone” was a big hit (which they tried to stand in front of as well).
Long and short—only one of their “peaceful” marchers THREATENED TO BOMB ME and they drummed up zero support for their cause. They don’t realize that, though some may be swayed towards sympathy for their cause, every time a suicide bombing mission occurs against civilians, the American public gets a more “I could care less” attitude.
Once again we had the public behind us, the police presence was immediately behind us, hell—even the fried dough guy hates them @#%^!% idiots. They had the support of themselves to include: every Middle-east action group, the Palestinians, some FREE MUMIA types, some get the US off that (can’t remember the name) island in Puerto Rico, right down to the freak we see every week.
All in all, a harmless freep--minus the one threat of a suicide bombing. Although it wasn’t as much “fun” as usual, it had it’s moments and my obligation to be a patriotic American was fulfilled.
