President George W. Bush got out of his limousine and walked with Chicago's Mayor Daley and Illinois Governor Ryan in the annual St. Patrick's Day parade. The president shook hands and waved to citizens. President Bush is the first sitting President to participate in the Chicago parade; he was received warmly in Chicago.
LMAO!
Our George looks great in a green necktie! Hope Chicagoans, including Necro-Americans, are suitably impressed.
In a parade commemorating a saint? He was probably afraid he'd be struck dead!
I wouldn't know. I haven't given it a try yet and have absolutely no plans to do so. :~D
in the mean time little tommy dashole, leader of the dumb-o-crats is asleep in his crib sucking on his baby nipple.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
I must be the only one to feel queasy at the thought of our President "trooping through the streets" of Chicago. May the Lord keep him safe.
Double darn, btw! I won an invitation to a wine-tasting with Don and Roma. It was last night. I couldn't go because of a dress rehearsal for our Easter production.
I would have been there today for the parade, too!!!!
I'm certainly glad all went well today!
