Lay apparently golfed with Clinton, and stayed at the White House during the George H.W. Bush administration. But he didn't stay at the Bush I White House because he "rented" the room. They were simply friends.

Well, I hope this is true. I just e-mailed it to my entire address book (and I encourage every one else to do the same). If its not, urbanlegends.com will have its hands full in a couple of months.

Wow ... I bet the Dems must be ready to kill the pressholes that tried to nail this to Bush ..... only to see Clinton surface again.

Before they find a "scapegoat", they'll need to find a crime. That fact that no crimes have been committed might stop 'em.

The only thing in dispute is the staying in the Clinton Whitehouse 11 times. It might actually be 35 times. It might be 10 times. Maybe, but not likely, it might be 0 times. Just substitute Clinton played golf with Lay so liberals won't be able to bicker over the number of times Lay stayed over.
All of the rest of it has not been disputed.

check your facts, though. I've heard from some reliable sources that Lay never stayed in the Clinton White House. And furthermore, Enron gave much more to the GOP than they gave to the Dems.

Enron gave much more to the GOP than they gave to the Dems. The GOP aren't the ones having tissy fits over money in politics so who cares if the GOP got money from Enron? The point is that DemocRATs are hypocrites, big time. Sort of: "Whaa! Whaa! Whaa!! The republicans are getting money. But PLEASE ignore us DemocRATs behind the curtian taking suitcases full of money."
Also, the GOP didn't return favors for the money the way Clinton and the rats did. First the rats were upset that the GOP might have done favors for the money. Then when they found that that was not true they were upset that the GOP didn't do favors for the money. In other words, the rats are simply a bunch of loosers with no real ideas.

I'm not sure. First time I have tried to find his website. . .

You are right of course but, the Gubberment can just blame someone without indicting them for a crime, by dragging them through the mud. Either way they cannot allow the Enron scandal to reach them since everone in washington took money from them.
