Larry Johnson of the CIA just said on Fox that Daschle, Hastert, Lott and Gephardt were in the shadow government facility on 9-11. He also said the government goes back to the Reagan years, and while it is highly classified it has been around a long time. He called Daschle Sgt Schultz ("I know nothing!- while he always knew what Hogan was doing) and says he has to have been totally aware of it. He was full of scorn for Daschle's assertion he knew nothing about it.

I'm not in the least bit surprised by this. The democrats are running scared but they know the "main stream" press will never cover Daschles obvious lies. I'd bet anything this bit of news won't hit ABC, CBS, NBC, or CNN. Not today, not next week not even next year. Daschle will get away with it.

Uh, isn't this gonna be relatively easy for Daschle to explain away? He was there on 9-11, just one day presumably ... a visit to a bomb shelter. He wasn't around long enough to see the facility house on-going government functions.

Calling it a "Shadow Government" is deceptive. It is part of the Continuity of Government plan. It is the same government, not some "shadow" alternative that one can "join". Plus it's only one branch (executive). Congress has their own contingency plans.

I loath Lil Timmy Dasshole because of what he wants to do to this country given the chance. But I do not think he's a stupid man. Little man, yes. Stupid man, no.

Doesn't make sense. Something's missing here. I'm thrilled to death he's getting drilled on this but I can't help but believe there's a deeper story that hasn't come out yet.

Thanks for posting; I saw this, too, and so angry I wanted to jump through the TV. OTOH, I say let the weasly, little, whiny jerk keep talking--he's the best thing going for the Repubs. I'm going to write to FNC to see if they will further verify, then talk about it evey hour.

One thing, tho', why did they take him along? I'd be perfectly happy if he was found in a corner crying, scared witless. Oh, maybe they did, and that is why they took him slong. ;-)
