For the last 30 min.(2200-2230) I saw five fast movers in the skies over central Nassau County. Have not seen any commercial aircraft even though my location is a 25 mile marker from JFK and I see commercials in the dozens this time every night. Wondering if anybody, particularly UHF listeners have any ideas.

I just looked outside (central NJ) I spotted 2 airliners in the distance....
I wouldn't say it's a busy night out there, but I do see activity! :)

I'm a jet watcher, at least unconsciously. Starting around 6pm, I noticed the traffic was behaving differently, with low and slow commercial jets off the normal path. You are not crazy. Otherwise, we both are...
