Rush is a partisan Party hack, who is not a real conservative, but a loyal party man. That is a shame. He never speaks ill of republicans, no matter how flawed or wrong they are. He is afraid to clean his own house. And that is wrong.

Truer words could not be penned. I noticed that years ago. If the RNC put out a news release that said, "From now on, the sun will rise in the west!" Rush would be on the air the following day, passing that gem on to us.

That being said, I listen to him every day, and enjoy his insight.

Don't listen.

Tell all your friends not to listen.

Have them tell all their friends not to listen.

and when you are done, Rush will still be on top of the ratings, so someone is listening.

Just to ask -- do you ever listen to him?

I hear him rail against spineless Republicans with great regularity!

Odd that he would say (just today) that he isn't happy about W's extension of unemployment weeks and the new service corps. But then he never criticizes Republicans! You probably will be disappointed if you expect him to call for W's impeachment.

Huh? How frequently do you listen to his program? Rush frequently speaks ill of Republicans if they are weak-spined or wrong. He seldom spares the Republicans-in-name-only (which he and others call RINOs) and frequently points out mistakes Republicans have made in their dealings with liberals of all parties. Rush is Republican, but he is a conservative first. If a Republican begins spouting liberal nonsense or does something illegal or unethical, Rush does not spare him or her. Tune in more often or read his articles on his website. THEN you may come back and say he's a party hack.

I have to agree. I listened to Rush back in 1990 but slacked off in the mid 90's when he seemed to become the PR guy for the big money Republicans. He pretty much scoffs at the "moral majority" folks. I know it was in jest but "Talent on loan from God" always seemed a bit blasphemous. I am thrilled that he got his hearing back and without his success we would not have the other shows today.

The guys I like are Roger Fredinburg, Michael Savage, and Chuck Harder. They are common-man Reagan conservatives in my mind. Rush is more aligned with the Bush and the big money globalists who have taken over the party.

I think you are a bit to harsh Race. During the bad old days between Reagan and GW, Rush was the leader of the conservative and Republican movements. With the exception of a couple of years of the Gingrich/Contract movement Rush (alone) spoke up for us from a national platform when no one else of any consequence could or would. We at least owe him our respect.-MM
